Trying to kill the day... I have literally spent the day in my kitchen(s)... outdoors and indoors.

My kitchen is my happy place. Started off with a fried rice...actually made that on my outdoor flat top. Converted over to a chicken lo mein... a mix of my flat top and my wok. Now in the process of making individual chocolate lava cakes....

Had to prep for an all night smoke tomorrow night. Doing 4 pork butts and a brisket... all going to various places. So I had to everything ready for that.

I'll start smoking around 9(ish) tomorrow night and have it go all night until it's time for work. Tuesday might be a long night🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

All in all... if the taste makes people happy it will all be worth it???

I love cooking..mostly for others... I cook far more than I eat... but to me its fun...my happy place

When I'm not close to my happy person I need to put myself in a happy place....so I cook.... it numbs the mind...

Couple that with some incredible music...life isn't bad... life is better, though, when my happy person is close
