Seems to me that there are enough of both here for all to enjoy,just a matter of preferance as to what an individule likes or dislikes,myself I prefer to be shaved and prefere my partners to be at leasttrimed if not totaly smooth.
That don't mean that I wouldn't take on a nice cock or ass that was hairy

Back in the days when I was shaving my experience was just the opposite. On the day I shaved I was ultra sensitive in the areas I had just shaved. That was the primary reason I shaved, it made a sensitive area of the body even more sensitive. To shave down and then have sex was really fine and if my sex partner was freshly shaved as well, the sex was mind blowing. Even after the hair started growing in again there was more sensitivity.

Whole body shaving is really high maintenance, however. So about ten years ago I went with the permanent solution and had all the hair below my neck permanently removed with a laser. I am still more sensitive than when I had hair, but I do miss the ultra sensitivity I had on the day I shaved.
