Are you asking how to delete friends from your list? I'm confused. You can check the boxes next to the names in your list and then delete at the bottom if that's what you're looking to do.

If you want to delete those who have not been mutual friends, look at your friend list. There is a "rock" next to names of mutual friends. If you don't see a rock, then that person doesn't have you on his/her list.

It's often not personal. Since the friend limits were instituted last year, many have had to delete or "unaccept" as a result.
