Unless a person uses it as a "gateway d r u g", in extreme excess, and/or is one of the 3% of society genetically predisposed to the onset of mental-illness as a result of smoking it - it is a far less damaging substance than alcohol or prescription drugs like valium. I know many, many people who occasionally smoke marijuana. Not a single one has become homeless, ended up in any kind of clinic, or become hospitalized due to it. I don't even know anybody who has even threw up from it. Can't say the same thing about alcohol though. But that shits legal. Makes no sense.
