Given that you say that you're picky about the guy you hook up with, it sounds like any of the places to find "Mr. Right Now" (i.e. Craigslist, gay.com, etc.) probably aren't for you.

My suggestion would be to try to find a social setting where you can meet guys in a relaxed environment, the better to "screen potential candidates" If you're into sports there's LGBT athletic groups in many major cities, like running clubs. Many places have social groups as well that get together on a monthly or weekly basis for dinners or bowling or something similar.

Granted this approach may be a bit more of an investment of time than you had in mind, but hey - it might be worth a shot. Good luck!
