Very sad news, 1970s pop singer and star of "The Partridge Family" t.v. series David Cassidy has passed away at the age of 67. In that series, the lovely Shirley Jones played his mother but, off-screen, she was his real life stepmother. She and David's stepbrothers must be absolutely devastated. After his pop career, David went on to become an accomplished stage actor. My thoughts and deepest sympathy go to his family. R.I.P. David
