Nah you cant really cut your self to bad . I just do a dry cut before a shower and I found it was smoothand less chance for in growns. Just go with the grain at first then after a few times you can do both go with and against. Good luck

Its just a shave. Use plenty of gel and be gentle as you become used to your own technique. It does feel great
