It comes about because males are horny when they make an arrangement and they are only thinking of cock pleasure. Later, when things have cooled down they start to think of some of the negative aspects such as not liking the person or finding them off-putting for one reason or another.

This reaction is very common in my experience. Similar I guess in some ways to how men feel about making the first move on a woman. I have felt the same way many times when it finally came to meeting. I did not however have the same reaction when I was at the bath house where I have the option to peruse the crowd and pass on the men who I didn't feel a connection with. These men mostly were guys looking for a cum dump and could care less about anything else. Chatting isn't the ideal situation in my opinion, no way to figure out who you are really talking to, or whether you both will click together.

I noticed too that when there seem to be a click while chatting, it just isn't there when you meet in person

I like to meet first timers and I know that it takes a couple or few days of chatting. I'm not trying to talk them into something, I'm trying to make them feel comfortable doing something that they will eventually do. Most guys have been curious for a couple of years before they contact me and one guy was curious for 20 years before he sucked my cock!
If you want to meet someone who always does it that's a lot easier.

I guess i did it differently

I was curious for years too,went on a site to find out exactly what i felt and went for he first contact knowing i wanted it to happen and yes it took me some time to make the decision

I guess i was more comfortable than most guys once i made that decision, i didn't say yes untill i was sure about it
