It’s a matter of personal preference, ultimately. Personally, there is no such thing as too much hair. The problem with shaving with a razor is that the hair gets cut at an angle, making each one like a little spear; uncomfortable for everyone. Trimming with clippers cuts more evenly, and is much more comfortable. There’s nothing intrinsically dirty about hair; that is a matter of hygiene.

In other words, do whatever you want!
