It Seems Hard to Explan

I don't know why, it just seems hard to get the idea that I am into S and M - Manly M - but not into BDSM or the "Lifestyle." It just that there is to much Hostility and Anger with the BD part of the "Lifestyle." How dose one get the Idea that with Love and Affection, exploration of SM can be far beyond the "Lifestyle" - Emotional - Deeper than one can imagine?

I've tried to describe it as a mirage - a la 1950's, Love Honer and Obey - Or Alpha; Beta - A partnership - perhaps abusive at times - Loving and caring in the end!!

I don't know why there is anger mixed into the S part of S&M?

I haven't been attracted to that "lifestyle", but I have fallen in love several times in my life.
It seems that one partner loves the other more, so one partner tends to give more than the other.
