Back in the 1950s as a little boy, I mean like 4, 5, 6 I was crazy about mushrooms as a motif on wallpaper and in children’s fairy tales, etc. I think a lot of Walt Disney’s artists know full well what all of those happy little penises with such personalities were. Of course, I couldn’t put together why I liked seeing them sooo much, but I would actually point them out to anyone who was around me. They were featured in coffee shops as wallpaper borders and everywhere else. Adults couldn’t understand why I had such eccentric strong likes at that age. I was also obsessed with all types of chimneys and vents protruding from rooftops. I actually begged my parents for a chimney for Christmas. All of them looked both highly desirable and yet so unattainable to me as a little boy.

It wasn’t until well into adulthood and accepting how much I loved penises that the coin finally hit the slot and I realized that I had always loved them, even before I could grasp anything about my sexuality. I think now that my parents were incredibly naive or just too abhorred to ever say anything about my pointing “my favorite” objects out all the time. Can anyone else relate to having something similar at a really early age? Im curious to hear any and all thoughts and experiences!
