Well if he spent less time golfing, on social media threatening his opponents, fighting failing wars that he started and embezzling money from American taxpayers he would definitely have more time to be president.

No I haven't fallen down a rabbit hole but....
I believe it is very possible that the whole Donald
Trump "assassination" attempt could very well be staged.
I know I'm not the only one that thinks this but there are
just so many benefits that come from this for Donald Trump.
Of course the primary one is that the ballroom at the White
House would have been a lot safer so now it's a matter of public
safety that "must" be built.
Enter the executive order.
I could go on and on but it's bedtime after I watch Jimmy Kimmel.

I don't think they should be allowed to enter any free theme image contests
and I'm kind of borderline about whether or not they should even be on the main page. It's not real so they don't deserve to be rewarded for it.
The purity is disappearing.
Although I edit the colouring and clarity of my photos I certainly don't add enhancements that are not realistic depictions of my friends and I.

My cat doesn't go outside except on my balcony.
If I had a dog it would be more convenient to take it out
during the summer because it's not -40°!

Those fucking Canadians! 🇨🇦
I read somewhere once that gas pumps are the most likely place to get the information skimmed when you use your credit card or debit card. Very often the proprietor is involved in the scam.

I know that in the Restaurant industry in Canada credit card fees are built into the pricing of food. There wouldn't be a different price if you paid cash versus credit card.
I assume that Canadian gas stations do the same thing, just average it out and build it into the cost to the consumer.
Do American grocery stores have different pricing for cash versus credit card?

I just saw on American news a sign at a gas station.
It said regular cash $3.99 and below that it said regular credit $4.09.
Is that normal to pay $.10 more per gallon if you use your credit card?
That doesn't happen in Canada. There is just one price regardless
of how you pay.

The barrel is a standard 205 L. There is only one size. They are that size for shipping to 70 other countries. 205 L of maple syrup is a lot of maple syrup.
I assume that there are multiple people in any country importing it and packaging it so 205 L is useable size and it's convenient for shipping.

I sold appliances for 10 years. One of the biggest mistakes that the laundry companies made was to put a glass door on the washer so that you could see inside it!
It sounds to me like it is a top load washer, probably an LG. I never sold the top load HE washers because I don't like them. The front load washer uses considerably less water but it goes around and around and everything gets cleaned by the friction of the clothes inside the washer rubbing against each other.
I don't know how big your rug is but it could be that you need to take it to a dry cleaner or a heavy duty washing machine at a laundromat.

Here's my take on your take.
Greenland is part of a NATO country and Donald Trump threatened to go in there and take it by force. Canada is a NATO country and Donald Trump kept talking about Canada becoming part of the US without asking us what we thought.
He has been nothing but a rude bully to all NATO countries especially regarding the illegal tariffs. No NATO countries were briefed on his plans to attack Iran nor were any NATO countries asked to contribute. It was strictly the US in Israel.
In short, he has been an asshole and we don't want to play in his sandbox.
Suddenly he needs help because of his ill planned war with Iran. This is a US war not a NATO war.
Who has the constitutional right to start a war in the United States? Certainly not the president, congress does.
It's easy to get into a war but it's very complicated to get out of one.
It's your mess, deal with it.

According to a CBS News/YouGov Poll, January 14–16:
86% of Americans are opposed to using military force to take Greenland
70% of Republicans are opposed to using military force to take Greenland

When the minimum wage goes up in a Canadian province it covers all employees in all sectors.
Taxi and Uber drivers, delivery people and others, also known as gig workers, a.k.a. "independent contractors" are not covered by minimum wage laws because they work for themselves. There is a big push to change that because they are also responsible for paying their own taxes and are not covered by many benefits that employees are covered by like employment insurance or workers compensation if they are injured on the job.

That's a basted egg. You would get the same result if you put the egg in a frying pan and cooked it with a lid on. It needs a little water to steam it.
I don't like my eggs sunny side up but I don't like the yolks broken so I cook my egg basted.

ICE will have to be notified of the presence of two foreign drug dealers on US soil. They are sitting in a New York jail so it won't be hard to find them.
They probably don't even have passports!
Apparently the US government helped facilitate their relocation from Caracas Venezuela to New York City.

"The US committed an act of armed aggression against Venezuela, which gives rise to deep concern and warrants condemnation.
The pretexts used to justify these actions are untenable.
Russia reaffirms its solitary with the Venezuelan people."

The words "we" and "our" are words that I use often to describe the activities at the restaurant owned by somebody who I have known for 13 years. I am not an owner but I am very much involved in making things happen.
I don't consider myself to be nearly as creative as he is. Most things are his vision and I make sure that his vision ends up on plates for a guests.

Happy new year! I am resting today after spending 12 hours doing something really cool yesterday. We have a lower level of our restaurant that is used occasionally for super exclusive dining. It holds 22 people and last night we did an eight course meal with drink pairings (some non-alcoholic).
You don't know what you're having for dinner until you arrive for your reservation (which has a $100 nonrefundable deposit).
You eat and drink what you are served and there are no options. It is a 2.5 hour service and costs $175 per person.
We do this once a month and we always sell out the day we announce it. We have never had a customer forfeit their deposit by not showing up.
