so their margins will become smaller. Their product will become more expensive,
if they want to raise prices or not.

You cannot grow coffee and bananas, so all American products made with coffee and bananas will become more expensive for Americans and who ever you want to export these products to. When you export them, those products become even more expensive, because all those countries will tariff your products. They don't have the same tariffs on importing coffee and bananas and they don't have the same tariffs when they export them to anyone besides the US. Do you think you can undercut their prices, by a 2x tariffs amount? How much cheaper do your employees need to work, to compete with the rest of the world, that doesn't tariff each other?
