School, business, LIFE.....everyone learns differently and often at a different pace. Again, it was my opinion that the young man spoke honestly and openly. I just wonder what precipitated him being asked to remove himself from the classroom?

So last week sometime we had discussed about the NAACP putting up a travel advisory for Florida. At which time I laughed, because Memorial Day weekend or as they call it down here in South Florida "Urban Week" was coming. Well I hate to be the one that says I told you so. So what Hollywood Police believe is that two gangs got into a fight on the beach. At which time guns were pulled out and bullets started flying. Nine people were hurt including small children. As far as I know no one has died. And our media down here is calling it a mass shooting. What us locals call a gang shooting or a drive-by. Maybe the citizens of Hollywood Beach would have been more safe if people would have listened to their NAACP travel advisory.

So, CC54, what did you tell us? Did you tell us guns don't exist in South Florida? Did you tell us there are no gangs in South Florida? Did you tell us that local gangs love blacks? Did you tell us only blacks cause trouble in South Florida? FYI most people picture mass shootings as one guy with an AR15 shooting and killing many people (I believe the FBI says 3 or more). But, "mass" means many and in this shooting there were 9 victims. Therefore a mass shooting occured. Maybe it was gang war. Maybe it was a drive-by. Maybe it was drug cartel business. Maybe it was a WWII Battle of the Bulge reenactment gone bad. BUT IT WAS A MASS SHOOTING. I, personally, love South Florida, but, if I lived out of state and was planning on visiting Florida, I would have second thoughts. The victims were all white in a beach that is traditionally white, in a city that's traditionally mostly white, where most of the beach goers are traditionally white and is located on the other side of the Intracoastal Waterway and opposite one of the richy sections of the city.

Another case of high school girls being denied their place because of a male.
And the girls or their parents can't say anything out loud because it can be considered bullying. THe laws are protecting the wrong 1's.
Women and girls work hard to achieve,and now it is getting to be to regular that they are being denied what is theirs by men that can't win with their own kind.

You would say that about every transgender who likes sports.
Or at least if they not totally suck at it.
And there can never be a team of experts good enough for you
to decide which transgender is allowed to compete against women.

Guys, Phart, Dgraff, Tecsan, CountryCouple54, I have to revise my thinking on this:
I truly believe transgenders have a right to BE transgender and should be treated equally as anyone else.
I believe a transgender (man, woman, child) should be allowed to use the restroom that corresponds to his transgender state.
I don’t think it’s fair for a transgender man to compete in women’s sports. That’s why I think it’s important for contestants in women’s sport to be gender tested.

It grates on my liberal soul, but, there it is. Maybe a compromise can be reached.
