How funny. Except when I'm sparring with you, most of my posts deal with politics, economy, family health, and the state of the American public's state of mind. When I was in the 8th grade,1 day during midterm history exam,I had very sharp pain in my groin. During exams it was prohibited to talk or do anything to disturb.But with all my might I kept quite but ask the teacher if I could go to the bathroom,she reluctantly said yes, I went and saw that my balls were swollen 3 or 4 times their normal size and I was in PAIN .
I went back and muddled thru that exam, went to the 2d 1 and finally just had to ask if I could go to the principals office. The teacher looked at me funny as no one normally ask to go there,but apparently she could see I was not "right" in some way and let me go. I spoke to a male principle and soon I was on my way to surgery for a testicular torsion.
I didn't ask the teacher, "why are my balls swollen?" I didn't interrupt the class screaming in pain. I contained my self and dealt with it. What has happened that kids haven't learned to handle issues I will never understand.
