In The Netherlands, we have a limit on abortion of 24 weeks. At that time their is just enough brain activity for the fetus to kick. It's possible it could feel pain, but so do a mouse and a chicken, which are much further developed than the brain of a fetus at 24 weeks. And you don't seem to want to force everyone to be vegetarians.
But because we don't like the idea, I support fetus sedation between 20 and 24 weeks or earlier at request. Feeling pain is not enough to call the fetus a 'person'. However, those late term abortions are very rare and mostly performed when the fetus would have extensive birth defects and in many case would not even survive.
In The Netherlands, 59% of abortions take place in the first 8 weeks, 84% in the first 12 weeks and only 2,7% between week 20 and 23, when the 20 week echo shows defects, which were not discovered previously.

People that want to change gender do so with a clear mind. They do so fully aware of what they want and expect. DID sufferers have no control of their disorder. To me that Q for 'Queer' was difficult to pin down. At that time I understood that it represented everyone who did not fully identify with the other four. But they also had LGBT+ and LGTBQ+, for which the '+' represented everyone else.
So I thought. But then they added IAPK (making LGBTQIAPK+). The 'A' for 'Asexual' I understand. All the other letters (and maybe the '+' too) represented sexual attraction or sexual identity, so then Asexual is a separate category (...sure). Then the Intersex people came along, and I imagine them saying that 'T' doesn't really represent us, everyone else gets a letter, even though we are born intersex and you all other people had to find out later, so we don't want to be represented by just a '+', we want our own letter 'I'. Which is off course very reasonable, so sure, we add the 'I'. And then the Pansexual people came along, saying 'We are different than the Bisexual people!'. I don't really understand the difference myself, but they obviously made their case well, so the 'P' was added. I imagine the '+' used to be good enough for them before, but when everyone else gets a letter, you want a letter yourself. Yep, that's understandable, you get your letter. Anyone else? And then the kinky people answered. They said 'You cannot even imagine the things we came up with, that all is not covered in the other letters.'. Which is a good argument, because kinks are redefining sexuality, like no other before. So they gave em their letter pretty quickly, I imagine, before they were incentivized to legitimize their claim to their own letter, with evidence.
So that's how we ended up with so many letters. I could have described it in a more woke way, so I hope I don't offend anyone, but even though I am pretty woke, there are limits to my pandering to it. I just think everyone is free to do as they please, if they don't hurt anyone, who is not asking for that.

Sometimes, the sex organs in their undies, do not define the person's gender.
Our two most well-known transgenders are Kelly van der Veer and Nikkie de Jager. They were both born as a boy and had sex change operation and hormone treatments. They are legally female now. I see no reason to call those people 'men', just because they were born as males. They don't have a dick anymore, so they are women, according to definitions that some people have given on this site.
Why would you even want to keep calling those people 'men'? What is in it for you?
Dave Chappelle's jokes were good jokes. But because transgenders are the easiest to poke fun at, of all people and all subjects, I found it a bit lazy. I think there are levels of humor morality. Making fun about a situation doesn't hurt anyone's feelings and is the hardest. I think it's the highest level of comedy. Making fun about people's ideas is a level lower. People might take offense, but ideas are voluntary, so it's their own responsibility if it's easy to make fun of their ideas. The bottom level of comedy is making fun of people's identity or disability. People cannot help or escape their identity or disability, so many have agreed that it shouldn't be a subject for humor anymore, because it could hurt the people who are disadvantaged already. I'm not calling for laws to forbid it or wanting them to be 'cancelled',
but I just think it's a bit lazy and might not watch their comedy anymore.
There is a gap in humor, where people are allowed to make fun about their own disadvantaged group or disability. A black man can get away with black jokes easier than a white man. So, if Dave Chappelle likes transgender jokes that much, he could invest in a sex change operation and appropriate easy material for himself, for the rest of his career.

Are they going to refuse to acknowledge women are different from men then??
