USA sells fuel to Europe, actually. It's your fuel, though in a big part made out of Canadian oil. And after shale oil boom USA produce a lot of it's own oil, practically one of the top world producers now.

Japanese cars that sell in USA are mostly made on factories located in USA, though owned by Japanese corporations. Ford cars are made mostly in Mexico but those factories are owned by Ford corp. So, what's what?

USA sells a lot of hi-tech - GM seeds, electronics, pharmacology, etc. I think about a half of generics that sell in third world now and save a lot of lives were initially developed in USA. GM crops also save a lot of lives in Africa and Asia. There is nothing to be ashamed about it.

Yes, many basic goods are produced in China. But do you have any idea about levels of pollution they have there? I'm not a big fan of environment protection programs and I especially against global warming scam, but what they do in China is practically "Fuck you nature". only registered users can see external links for example. There is no way you can compete with China in production of basic goods and do not have air like that in the same time. Not to mention $700 salaries.

If you want to return production into USA it's possible, but you will have to pay way more for goods relatively to your salary and buy way less of them.

Most stuff like Murry Lawnmowers are assembled in the US with world parts by overseas company's.
Toyota owns the largest bank in Japan.And factory's here in the US. The money they make,goes in their own bank,not ours.
Go to the John Deere dealer and buy parts for the 100 series mower,made in china.

What do countries mean? The world is owned by corporations. To GM, for instance, it doesn't matter whether some of its cars (Saab, for instance) are made elsewhere or in the US. It's their profit that counts. Flags don't mean much. One should have logos flying over their house, just as they have logos on their t-shirts and underwear. Countries won't exist for too long. People will pledge allegiance to corporations sooner or later.
