I took a short video with my phone, 1:50 minutes, and apparently it's too large to attach to a text or email. This is difficult to grasp since a friend sent me a video that was 4:04 minutes via text and I was able share it via email. I've said this many times, I AM TECHNOLOGICALLY CHALLENGED!
What is everyone drinking tonight
I gave up drinking over 6 months ago so I’m making chocolate peanut butter hot fudge milkshakes in the blender
Chocolate ice cream
A tablespoon of peanut butter
A shot of hot fudge
And a dash of milk
Congrats on being able to give up drinking, you will start feeling better for sure. For me,tonight, probably just a glass of whole milk,I always drink some milk before bed.supposedly helps you sleep. Of course i drink about 2 to 3 gallons of milk a week
No longer any "dollar stores" however I do shop Dollar Tree predominantly for greeting cards and sometimes other "stuff". Yeah, their "dollar" items are now $1.25. Today was no different, I went there for a birthday card and a thank you card and I ended up buying several Christmas items that were 50% off. Yep, I only paid $0.63, woo hoo!
I think back in september I went to the local dollar tree and they had the little solar lights for .25 cent each on clearance, I bought 10 dollars worth as i use them to light the walk way in front of the house. enough to last me a few years.just leave the little paper tab in them until i need them.
Dollar General is not/was not established as a true "dollar" store. There's several Dollar General by me in Florida and the one closest to me carries limited amount and selection of both produce and fresh meat and I consider their prices extremely high. I think of Dollar General as being more like a convenience store rather than being a "dollar" store, don't you?
Yea, you have to be careful at dollar general, stuff cost more in smaller packages there. but I think there is a couple things you can get there that other places don't carry. Like the
Accent Flavor Enhancer, 3 oz., I haven't tried it yet but i have never saw it at walmart.
I just made a beer run to Winn Dixie in LaBelle. Dang, all their unsold Christmas "stuff" was scooped into 3 shopping carts located at the front of the store near the entrance. Apparently they needed the shelf space to display VALENTINE'S Day products! Oi!
Yeah, phart, it's difficult to say no to a chocolate covered cherry and especially when it's half price. I just don't understand why Mr. Grocer doesn't think like that when it comes crown roast of pork or standing rib roast.....
That's a sensible way to look at the discounted Christmas items, of course. In the past, I have purchased discounted cards, ornaments and wrapping paper. Winn Dixie is a grocery store but I don't recall seeing those types of products there. They carry items like bags of seasonal cookies, candy and/or cakes, boxes of Christmas chocolates and "stocking stuffer" trinkets. I should have been on a hunt for a deeply discounted fruit cake to hang onto for the next year to gift a lucky someone!
Actually, I was in awe that there was not a trace of "Christmas" left anywhere on the store's shelves and that Valentine's Day will be their focus for the next 7 weeks.
I’m surprised Winn Dixie has valentine candy up already, that will be a non seller and a wasted space for making money for the next six weeks, no one buys valentine candy this far in advance and most retailers are stocking up on beer and chips for the second biggest beer event of the year, the Super Bowl.
Yea there were dozens of empty shelves at walmarts but there was a big display right at the door for the souper bowel. you might need to be careful typeing or saying or using those words that name the event, they might sue you for copyright issues. that's why alot of radio commercials and such just say the "big game" or something, to keep from being sued.
I made a trip to ACE Hardware this afternoon and purposely parked next to the Tesla "truck" that preceded me into the lot. The couple weren't quick to get out and it caused me to fiddle-fart around in car so I could time my exit with theirs. When I saw the driver's door open, I jumped out and made eye contact with her and confessed that I purposely parked next to their vehicle because I was hoping that she/they might allow me to look it over. She was more than happy and quite enthusiastic to give me a "tour".
The interior was quite roomy with a full back seat that would easily seat 3 adults. The futuristic design of the outside of the vehicle is quite deceptive because with a push of a button, the area which appears to be a "hatchback" rolls back to expose a rather large and roomy truck bed. The tires were massive and I think she mentioned that they work independently. She also mentioned that the vehicle's windshield/windows as well as body were bullet proof. Apparently, she/they like their electric vehicles because they have an "X" at home.
I've noticed a good deal of Tesla vehicles on Florida roads, my guess is that Floridians like electric cars!
I was able to look at 1 last week and there was alot of nice things about it but 1 thing I noticed was when i went to shut the passenger door,i put my thumb on the edge and the metal was sharp! the little trunk space at the front is very small, a couple kids could have a sleep over on the dash board though! it is huge.

Sunbathing Walrus Sinks Boats
That 1 boat that didn't sink looks as if the walrus has just shit all over the inside of it.
Sheesh that would be rough to clean up.
