has anyone else mailed their shit in to a lab instead of getting the colonscopy? I was told this morning I needed to get checked and I agreed to let them send me a box and I would try to send them some shit. does it come with a tracking number?
By bella! [Ignore] 01,Jun,26 19:04 other posts
Because there is a familial history of rectal colon cancer in my family, I am NOT a candidate for that type of “screening”. No It’s too bad that something as sincere and important as this could be buried. I hope someone has the information that you’re seeking.
By phart [Ignore] 01,Jun,26 23:24 other posts
I am sure I can manage, I just don't want to go thru that laxative treatment again if I can help it. There is family history on my moms side for me to. the only time I did it, the stuff didn't clean me out, 2 hours after the scopy, i was in golden corral and let's just say that toilet probably got changed out after I left. There was ALOT still in there apparently when they went where no one has gone before!
By CAT52! [Ignore] 02,Jun,26 07:03 other posts
PHART, if you mean a shipping tracking number, I don't think so. I have polyps Everytime I get a colonoscopy and my mother had cervical cancer and my Grandmother died of stomach cancer. Not the same as colon cancer but close. My youngest son is in the final stages of colon cancer, stage 4. So you see, I think I can talk about this.
If there's even a small history of cancer in your family, I strongly recommend a regular colonoscopy. That godawful laxative treatment they used before has been changed. The new procedure is gentler.
Regardless, destroying a public toilet is much better than the alternative. Good luck.
By phart [Ignore] 02,Jun,26 07:06 other posts
Well, i ask about tracking because i have enough trouble getting bills and etc mailed and they go thru, i certainly don't want my SHIT to literally get lost.
breast cancer in women pass's down as prostate cancer in males, so I also have that worry.
By CAT52! [Ignore] 02,Jun,26 07:10 other posts
I believe, and don't quote me on this, the website does have an internal tracking system.

Are you talking about a FIT kit? I live a five minute walk from the biggest hospital within 100 miles so I just pick her up there and then take it right to the lab there.
If you live near a town that has a a medical laboratory you can get it and return it there too.

Here’s an interesting way a father dealt with an issue in his house.

only registered users can see external links

I must admit, a hundred years ago, when I lived in my parent’s home, we, my two sisters and myself, didn’t close our bedroom doors but it wasn’t because our father or mother said we couldn’t, we just didn’t…. In the event that my father was home and we wanted or needed to change clothing, we may have closed the door, but that was it. If it was after school and one of us was changing clothing, I didn’t bother closing the door, who cares if a sister walked by? The only door that I/we closed was the bathroom and in most instances, we didn’t lock that door.
By kebmo [Ignore] 07,Jun,26 23:41 other posts
A friend of mine had a daughter who slammed her door a couple of times and her dad said the next time that she slammed her door it's coming off for the day.
Well it came off for a day and she slammed it again so it came off for a week.
The next time she slammed it it came off for a month. It never got slammed again!

I always fly "Premium Economy" and drinks, meals and luggage are free. I also get to be the first group onto the plane and the first off because I'm in the front.
There is no centre seat just two bigger seats.
After the first time I tried this I really got spoiled. I don't fly often but when I do I want to be comfortable.
I'm flying next week, just a two hour flight but I'll be comfortable.

I know, I know! The BS, the verbal @buse, the claims made of racism and it goes on….

When I’m doing anything and I have no plans, I find myself playing word games and number games on my phone while I’m listening to YouTube. My go to picks are crime and the police vest cam videos. They’re something that I can listen to while doing something else.

My guess is that police officers go through some psychological evaluation prior to being hired. I sincerely don’t know whether I could get up every day and possibly go through that much crap without losing my cool. Just sayin’…….

Some cops make over a hundred grand, depending on overtime and off duty work, if a police officer is on the way home in his patrol car and someone is driving recklessly he can pull them over and write them a ticket… three hrs pay for that, if the boss calls you at home for ten seconds, that’s three hrs pay etc…
By t-rex [Ignore] 06,Jun,26 22:10 other posts
I still don’t know if that would cover it enough for me, what with the risk of life and all the bullshit you have to put up with, I would not be able to tolerate it. Let alone turn me loose with a weapon around all those crazy people

Good for you! I cannot say that I ace all of them. If my girlfriend wouldn't tell me that my clothes are fading or my shoes are falling apart, I would wear them way too long.
My negative outlook is fully dependent on the topic. In every day life, I only talk about how "the world is fucked", when it comes up. In my work and social life, I'm very much a positive guy. I am flexible enough to adjust to anything. When I'm raising concerns, it's not for me, because I will make sure that I'm alright, I'm just warning for the damage people are doing to themselves and humanity. When it comes to leisure time, I want to go to different restaurants, different recreational activities and different vacation destinations every time. I'm not an early adopter of all technology, but I'm the person who people ask for help if they get stuck with technology.

But, good tips! Most of them probably think that they don't need to be attractive to women anymore, because they already have one, but you want to keep making an effort for your wife or girlfriend of 25+ years, if you want her to keep making an effort for you too.

However, some women are comfortable with, or even encourage, their partner's lack of grooming or attention to appearance, because they see reduced attractiveness as a way to minimize romantic competition from other women.

well most chihuahuas are annoyed by cats and go nuts when they see 1

When a Chihuahua sees a cat, the reaction can range from intense fear and barking to playful wrestling. Because both animals are similar in size, they often become fast friends or learn to respect each other's boundaries, though their interactions can sometimes look dramatic.

I don’t know how other members feel about this but when someone writes a comment with the whole screen full I will not read it. Because it’s to long to waste my time reading all that. I only read posts up to three or four lines and if more, I ignore it. The only, and I mean only time I read a long story or post is when skittles writes one of his funny posts.

Perhaps more. The members you are classifying as living in poor countries are actually living in very modern countries with many superior qualities.

I have to agree with cat, my brother has been touring in Asia and right now is in Thailand, what he told me on the phone was that Thailand is known as a third world country and is far superior than the u.s. the streets are clean, the buildings and malls are far superior than any in the u.s. Thailand makes the u.s. look like a third world country. He was also in Dubai which is probably the richest country in the world. yes on the frys and coca cola. nothing like they used to be.
moutain dew changed it's formula a couple years ago and it taste like shit compared to what it used to but it is still better than most of the sodi waters out there. I personally like the "throwbacks" that had the cane sugar in them. but they were a limited edition thing.
By Cody8789 [Ignore] 29,May,26 16:07 other posts
I think it’s more like, when your younger your tastebuds are so much more stronger and the food can be strongest to your tastefull buds b4 you get older, I think that’s why a lot of people have to add so much more salt to there diet when they get older to make the food taste better. I do know smokers lose their taste from smoking. I remember as a kid how different candy tasted then how it tastes today along with the change of ingredients too.

Msg gives alot of stuff it's flavor. I finally just bought a container of accent ,which has msg in it to try to see if that was what was missing from food and sure enough, it does give some foods their taste back.

haven't heard or read yet as to where he got it, Bella posted below the gun was stored correctly. So apparently since that is the case, the kid must have found the key or remembered the combination of the lock on the safe or something.

The teacher most likely deserved it the teacher probably Belittled The kid beyond belief that problem happened in my family quite a bit because we are different and much larger than the rest of the kids I had teachers made fun of me calling me giraffe 🦒 and giant it’s humiliating my suggestion would be to cyber school at home you get a better education with less distractions in half the time and people are starting to realize it public schools are not making the grade anymore
By phart [Ignore] 07,Jan,23 11:45 other posts
Yea I was bullied alot in school by fellow students, shunned as slow and stupid by the teachers.
SO yea,I know the frustration all to well of how it feels to grow up as "that kid" at the back of the room.
School bullying has been a issue for decades and if these folks that claim to want to make positive changes really meant it,they would do something about it.
Cyber school, It worked for the plandemic, why not keep on?
MUCH cheaper in the long run as the homeless issue could be partly solved by housing people in the old school buildings, busing would no logner be needed. School lunches, would be the PARENTS problem, not the taxpayers and etc. A win win for everyone.
Less school shootings and at the very least, less kids in 1 place to get harmed.
But no, just delete the gun and the whole world will be perfect and kumbaya will be the world anthem.

All jokes aside, sadly you made a good observation.
By bella! [Ignore] 07,Jan,23 12:43 other posts
You have got to stop that.

• Children needn't be bullied by children, teachers or parents.
• Teachers needn't be bullied by the children they're attempting to teach.
• Parents need to be more involved in parenting their children because it's NOT THE JOB OF THE TEACHER to babysit your li'l hooligans 8 hours a day while you're getting high.
By phart [Ignore] 07,Jan,23 12:55 other posts
I can agree.Parents always chunk the kid in the school or day care and go on with their day as if they don't have kids.
Then something like this happens and everyone is like,"HOw could this happen"?
Well, gee, just as being discussed in another thread I mentioned i would like to see the country go back to the ways of the 50's and this is 1 of the reasons why. School shootings were rare.Parents, namely the mother, were involved in the teaching, raising and caring for the children.
By #610414 07,Jan,23 18:55
The United States had no mass school shootings that fit our criteria until 1940, when a junior high school principal killed the superintendent, the high school principal, the district business manager, and two teachers, before attempting suicide, because he thought he was going to be fired at the end of the school year.

Guns were less common and people didn't use agun to settle an argument.
By dgraff [Ignore] 09,Jan,23 10:55 other posts
Really what about the Wild West a gun was used to settle just about everything and gun were way more popular back then compared to now and everyone carried a gun back then including the two bit whores the store owner the black smith and so on
By Andthisisme [Ignore] 07,Jan,23 14:46 other posts
Are you seriously justifying someone being shot for belittling someone. If this is a common view in the US, that explains a lot.
By phart [Ignore] 07,Jan,23 14:57 other posts
It is not the belittling or the "fill in the blank" that gets most people to a point of wanting to do harm.It is the lack of other actions being taken or the lack of any actions taken doing any good for the problem.
You get to a point in your life sometimes where you are fed up and can NOT take it anymore. In the case of a 6 year old wanting KILL or harm with a gun, I would say exposure to video games and the killing on them may have been a negative influence.
People for decades have tried to explain that violent music, violent tv shows and games, have a negative effect on the people. Prompting violent behaviors and habits. But the liberals call it freedom of expression and whine to their lawyers, as our kids continue to play games and watch violent movies and listen to music that encourages violence without accountability.
By Andthisisme [Ignore] 08,Jan,23 04:23 other posts
The child must be/ have been seriously disturbed in some way to even think of picking up a gun and shooting his teacher and I do have to wonder to what extent so many .shoot ‘em up’ video games can affect a child/person. At 6 he should not be allowed access to such games by retailers or online sites or his parents. But we know that really doesn’t work.
The causes of the immense gun violence in aThe US has been debated and argued over for years and there will never be a agreement on how to deal with it.
You have your views on gun control, which I respect but totally disagree with, and. Ihave mine, which you totally disagree with. So the shootings and often killings just keep going on.
By bella! [Ignore] 08,Jan,23 05:44 other posts
I can agree with you on the point that children should not have access to violent video games HOWEVER these games must be "alluring" when the child watches their parent(s) relax by playing violent and/or aggressive video games after a long day/work week.

My guess is that a 6 year old child is not able to process what he did. He is not able to process what happens when you shoot someone or something with a real gun, that they are not able to get up, dust themselves off because they have a spare life or two. Regardless of how anyone feels about guns and gun violence in the United States, it circles back to current culture. Is it only that the mindset of Americans is fucked up and that we have access to guns? I kinda think that our society/the world is fucked up and folks living elsewhere need to be "creative" with the way they "accomplish" their dastardly deed.
By #610414 08,Jan,23 08:51
I agree with you, Bella. We show little control on what our kids are exposed to.

It happens more than we know all I’m saying is screen the teachers better look into their past find out what they’re sexual preferences are if they’re gay switch them to a girls gym teacher or something like that it’s the parents fault because they don’t get involved in school affairs enough just look at the crap they are teaching the poor kids I’m not asking for much just a little policy reform
By bella! [Ignore] 09,Jan,23 07:58 other posts
A deeper screening of potential teachers and finding out their sexual preferences? And where does that stop? Should Microsoft, Ford Motor Company, electricians, steel workers, etc, be required to "disclose" their sexuality? Sorry, dgraff, that's a CRAZY idea.

That, Dgraff, is ridiculous. Sexual preference shouldn’t be part of any vetting of a teacher, or anyone else. You are bisexual. You think you should be allowed to drive a wrecker? You have to transport MEN and women. Are they safe? The “crap” they teach is approved and insisted upon by the local school board. Perhaps I don’t understand what you mean. Could you be more specific? I always thought math, science, English, civics, phys.Ed., were harmless enough.

Well to a point we have a gun problem.
If we could get the guns away from the crooks the rest of us could keep ours locked up until we wanted to target shoot or something.
IF criminals were deterred or dealt with, we wouldn't feel the need to have a gun on our side so to speak.
