A republican woman would have grabbed her revolver out of the night stand and saved the kids and the dog by chasing the burglar off
And let’s face it there is nothing more scary than a woman in a towel with a hand gun
but to just grab the dog and just say ,"don't hurt the kids?" she doesn't NEED kids,
There are 2 possibilities:
1) Humanity made God
2) God made humanity
In the first possibility, you expect God to be very absent and humanity to have constant disagreements about what God wants, because God is just the representation of what humanity wants. Humanity can never disagree, so you get conflicts over religion.
We are living the exact outcome you would expect, in that case.
In the second possibility, you have something to explain: Why is God so absent? Why are there so many different religions? Was that a mistake or on purpose? Why does God want humanity to be in conflict over him? Doesn't humanity not have conflicts enough already? What a strange God.
Of course you can rationalize it, making arguments towards your belief that God is real,
but if you just start with the 2 possibilities, the first one is the most consistent with reality.
If there is a God, she shouldn't have made my brain too logical to believe bad arguments. Or made it more reasonable to believe in her.
from guys claiming that she was their wife or girlfriend.

Raising sea levels are not the first and worst problem though.
That's only going to be a problem after 2100, or so.
The problems have already started with mass immigration from areas in the world
that are becoming too hot for humans to live there.
Next is food insecurity, from destroyed harvests, from droughts, floods and hurricanes.
With food insecurity comes high food prices and starvation for the people who cannot afford them. I worry about that more, even while most of my country is below sea level.
There's a forum to discuss this; "Global Warming... What do you Believe?"
Fossils? Are you referring to science?
You mean the same science that provides you a shitload of evidence
that climate change is real and man-made?
Well, maybe they find your fossil one day, and determine it is evidence
of man-made climate change.
Do you know that the CO2 concentration is higher now, than that time
you are referring to (130,000 till 115,000 year ago)? The CO2 concentration
was between 266 and 282 ppm then. It's at 422.49 ppm today. The last time
it was that high was between 2.6 million and 5.3 million years ago.
You are confusing millions of years with just decades. It's just as wrong as saying
you can shoot the moon with a .45 bullet. (to put it in a metric you understand)
New Jersey Maryland and Delaware will be under water in record pace.
It just takes a while before it warms the earth enough for all the ice to melt.
In stead of tens of thousands of years, it will take 250 years tops.
But, as I explained before, the sea level bothers me the least.
Funny enough, I worry about the same things as you; all the 'illegals' coming.
just haul the tractors a few miles up hill from where they are now.
It's bad news for your country, because most of it will become too hot.
However, it's not just the temperature that will become a problem in lots of areas,
it's the more extreme weather. You can have weeks or months of rain, with the crops rotting on the fields, then weeks or months of heat and drought, drying everything
to a crisp, followed by heavy storms destroying the rest.
In my country, it's year on year now, that we get told the potatoes are even more expensive than the year before, because a big part of the harvest rotted away
in the mud or that it was too hot and all the fruit was smaller.
* For a point of reference, the City of Detroit is located in Wayne County.

these are nuclear plants, the stuff in michigan is from bomb experiments, even oLder ,less secured waste than the power plants.
Our local nuke plant had a "near miss" for a major incident when tree huggers started whining about fish being killed in the water inlets to the cooling pumps, so screen filters were placed there, only to CLOG up with fish and prompt the equipment to start heating!

The war of 1913
Kids being exposed to anything but alternative reality, is exactly what is happening.
Republicans are unconstitutionally pushing religious dogma on kids, as science.
They wouldn't be lied to like I was that the only way to make it was go to college, I coulda took a job in the trades right out of high school and done MUCH better for myself but i took the guidance counselors advise. and she got a kick back from the college
If you want to mess up kids' minds, so they are unable to distinguish stories from reality, teaching them religion is how you do it. Because, to accept reality, you first have to teach them to ignore reality and then believe whatever your saying. It's like forcing them to believe in Santa Claus and the Easter bunny their whole life. And if you do that, they might also believe your video was actual history. Anyone who has been taught critical thinking recognizes this as fantasy immediately.
Schools need to teach kids real facts that are important to know, skills that they need
to participate in civilization and to develop themselves and are necessary to cooperate with other people. What is even your point?
Fiction like that is for entertainment purposes. Sure, you can learn some life-lessons from good works of fiction, but not facts. The problem is when those works of fiction are being presented as facts, like they do with religion.

So all this is fiction?
The stories of Spider-Man all happen in New York.
So Spider-Man is real, because New York is real?
Is your 'Automatons 1913' story real, because robots exist?
There is just as much history supporting Thor, Odin, Zeus and Ra.
Their stories contain real places and people who really existed.
Do you believe in all of them?
There is even more evidence that Muhammed actually existed.
Do you believe Muhammed split the moon and rode a winged horse?
It's even likely there was a guy calling himself the son of Jesus around 2024 years ago, that doesn't mean he actually was. In the last several thousand years, there were millions of people acting like prophets, faith healers, people with special gifts and unnatural abilities. Many of them were killed as blasphemers. There were people who believed in them too, writing stories about them. Besides that these stories were popular and survived the times, there is nothing special about the chucked together bunch of texts, we now call the Bible. Of course the Bible contains real places and real people, they wanted people to believe it.
I'm just humoring you to give it a capital B.
Harry Potter has a flying car. Do you believe that it flies,
if I tell you it's a Ford Anglia, a car that actually exists?
You're just showing you don't understand the basics of critical thinking.
Stories and lies are often packed in pieces of truth, to make them believable.
Someone told you or wrote it down for you to read that van Gogh painted a picture ,the Starry night. Can we be sure that some homeless man didn't paint it and van gogh didn't kill him and steal it in order to take credit?
How can you be so sure of anything to discredit me?

There is much more information supporting the existence of Vincent van Gogh, than there is information supporting the existence of Jesus. Of course there are all the paintings, but there are letters (820 by van Gogh and 83 to him) and he lived in a time when governments kept records. His birth record and records from the places he lived still exist. Van Gogh used postcards with stamps from the places he lived, stamped with the place and date. There were other people writing about him, when he was still alive. It all amounts to a massive pile of evidence that van Gogh really existed. There is the possibility that some information about him is incorrect, but all the different sources confirm his existence and that he was responsible for those paintings.
For the existence of Jesus, the only evidence is the compilation of texts, written by several unknown writers, decades after his supposed death. It's possible that some of the writers actually knew the person they wrote about, but there is clear evidence that others copied from each other or had written down stories they heard. All the witnesses that Christians talk about are just stories about witnesses. There is nothing existing from them or about them. There is just the Bible and nothing more. That the Bible describes places and events that actually happened is unremarkable. That the texts describe supernatural abilities is unremarkable. There are texts about other figures from that time, like emperors, kings and famous soldiers, describing supernatural abilities. There is more evidence for the existence of other religious figures, than there is for Jesus.
People just believe the stories of the Bible over the Quran or the Bhagavad Gita or vice versa, depending on the culture they grow up in. If all those Holy books described important facts about God, creation and nature in the same way, that would be significant, but every neutral observer sees the failability of humanity emanate from every single page and the Holy books as a collection.
Have you checked out any other the short films this AI artist has produced on his channel, they are quite good, I've seen a lot of AI generated art now, film & imagery, much though provoking & entertaining at the same time.
Fantasy art has been around for a long time now, but these AI artists have really turned it up a notch.
